The theme for this year’s conference is disruption and new opportunities. Some of the markets leading figures will be speaking!

The US insurance and reinsurance industry is undergoing the most intense period of disruption in its history. Capital continues to pour into the region, be it in the more traditional property catastrophe products catering to California or Florida, or some of the more specialist areas like the US mortgage market. On top of this, there is increasing pressure for perils such as flood to be transferred to the commercial market and away from taxpayers. It is not just the nature of what is being covered that is changing however. A host of new entrants have made their presence felt in recent months and years. On the broking side of the industry, JLT Specialty USA has emerged as a viable alternative to some of its more established rivals and has been winning business ever since launching its operations in 2014. New underwriters such as Everest National are looking to gain a foothold in an increasingly congested market space. Recent new launches like Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance have also added another dimension to the mix, while others like Aspen Insurance, Swiss Re Corporate Solutions and QBE are all looking to grow their businesses and competition within the market has ramped up as a result.

Join us and some of the North American re/insurance industry’s leading figures for what promises to be an insightful and informative day of discussion.
